VoiceKeyboard is voice typing for Windows: press Ctrl+1, speak, and your words appear in any app as you talk, online or fully offline.

VoiceKeyboard is a voice typing app for Windows 10 and 11 made by Grin Studio OÜ in Estonia. Put the cursor in any window, a browser, a messenger, a document or a code editor, press Ctrl+1 and speak: the text is typed while you talk. You pick the engine by its name. Google is free and covers 58 languages, one at a time; it runs through Google Chrome. The offline models run on your own PC: Whisper, Parakeet v3, Vosk, and GigaAM v3 and T-one for Russian. Soniox, in Pro, detects your language and can switch in the middle of a sentence. The FILES screen turns audio, video and video links into .txt files on your computer with Whisper. The free plan gives 2,000 words a day with any engine, plus one file and one link a day. Pro costs $14.99 a month, or $119.88 a year (launch price until 30 November 2026); it removes the limits and adds Soniox with 1,500 minutes a month. The app speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Hindi.

Two limits we state ourselves: the free Google engine needs Google Chrome on the computer, and the installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen shows a warning before the first start. A window that runs as administrator may not accept typing from VoiceKeyboard; that is a Windows rule.
